A white Christmas? Nearly!
What a great holiday I have had! Two weeks away from work and I’d be lying if it wasn’t a bit of a struggle to get up this morning!
As I looked out my window this morning I see we narrowly missed out on snow at Christmas! A very quick look on Google tells me that the last time we enjoyed a (blanket) white Christmas in London what 1895. It seems a little strange that we carry on referencing a snowy Yuletide i.e. on Christmas cards and depicted in adverts around the holiday season when it hasn’t actually happened in over 100 years.
I guess it wouldn’t be quite the same to receive a card with a ‘rainy’ scene on it!
