Container City
This past weekend was “Open House” in London, with lots of interesting venues opening their doors to the public. On Sunday I went along to Trinity Buoy Wharf to see some of the installations and check out some of the possible event spaces. Alas, I was a day too late for Eco-Design Day, but it was still a fascinating place – especially Container City, a development of studio spaces and offices constructed from old container units. Fantastic views of Canary Wharf and the Dome, a groovy looking New York style diner on site and a bird sanctuary next door… could this be a future home for the Seventeen empire? Watch this space!

Container buildings are a fascinating part of modern architecture.
Maybe even of future Architecture.
