Eco Dance Festival…in your kitchen
Posted by Casper on Thursday, September 6th, 2007
I came home on Tuesday evening, planning a nice quiet evening in with my housemate to the enormous pile of washing-up, which had not magically disappeared as both of us had hoped. Added to that, the light bulb in the kitchen had blown, so we couldn’t tell the milk from the cranberry juice (don’t ask).
We decided there were two ways to deal with this issue. Either we both moan about the terrible suffering we have to endure for clean dishes – or we have fun doing them.
Also – by not using a dishwasher, minimising water usage, keeping the lights off, and the heating down (dancing/drying keeps you warm) – our dish-disco footprint was pretty small!
Ingredients for your very own evening of fun
- environmentally friendly washing-up liquid
- turn the lights off
- some groovy beats (I strongly suggest D-Kay & Epsilon’s ‘Barcelona‘ to get the blood pumping)
