Observer Ethical Awards party
Last night was the culmination of many months of work for us with the Observer Ethical Awards party which took place at the Hospital members bar in Covent Garden. It was a totally different atmosphere from last year and in my opinion all the better for it – we had some cool eco-celebs who joined us for champagne and canapes including Alex and Alexa from Popworld, east end film icon Danny Dyer and round the world yachtswoman Ellen McArthur. Everyone seemed to love the party vibe of the evening and the awards presentation hosted by Simon Amstell and Lucy Siegle had the audience in stitches. Congratulations to all the winners who will be officially announced in this Sunday’s Observer magazine, and thanks to everyone who came along to help us celebrate.
