We always ask potential suppliers and venues whether they have an environmental or sustainability policy. Sometimes the answer is a “yes,” sometimes it’s a “no,” and a lot of the time it’s a “what are you talking about?” We understand that not every business will be as engaged with sustainability as we are at Seventeen. We’re not interested in pages of jargon or meaningless certificates – what we appreciate is a willingness to work with us to make the events industry more sustainable.
For this reason we’re always happy to share our sustainability policy online. It explains how we deal with sustainable issues in our office and at our events. We believe that by transparently explaining what we believe in, our clients will have a greater understanding of how we will work for them.
